HOW F'ING OLD AM I!? LOL
I'll fill you in more tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, but I finally went and had a very professional hearing test done today. Wife has been on me for at least two years, and I've been feeling more and more that maybe she's right about my hearing loss. So I have mild hearing loss in left ear, "moderate" hearing loss in right. Audiologist tells me I'm right on the "borderline" for needing a hearing aid. A HEARING AID!!!!! LOL, Oh man, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Funny thing is, it's really no help, because she says since I'm borderline, I don't REALLY need one, or I could use one, it's up to me. What the hell is that!??? Of course I don't WANT one, so if you tell me it's up to me, I'm gonna say no I won't get one. Ahhhh! I'd write more, but the early bird special is almost over at Ram's Horn, so I gotta go!

I'd believe it. Part of your job is listening through headphones every single day. Over time your ears get accustomed (some would say damaged) to the loud noises that come through them. You'll find that volume knob slowly turning up a little louder each time so you can hear everything more clearly.
Though I take issue with the hearing aid. Unless you can't pick out conversations in a moderately crowded room, you shouldn't need a hearing aid.
BTW: Big Boy has a great breakfast buffet on the weekends. Get there early. :)

Jeff,
Look online for the thing that looks like a bluetooth receiver, it only costs around $15-$20, and you won't have to worry about looking old. It just boosts the volume so you won't have to wonder what people are saying when you're at the bar (like when you were with Cletus). You won't be able to wear it with your headphones, but you can crank those as far as you want anyway.
