LISTENERS
It is always cool to still meet listeners who are missing the show and waiting for it to return. So a quick hello to a very cool guy I met tonight in a Baskin Robbins at 14 and Crooks named Eric. I was there getting my wife's favorite cake for Mother's Day when I had the pleasure of b.s.'ing with him for a minute or two. Eric if you're reading this, I would have talked longer if my crazy daughter Mina hadn't been trying to break both my arms, lol. Cool guy though. Also a dude named Greg who was doing some work on our house this week. Real down to earth, nice guy. As almost always our listeners are genuine people; the kind of guys you'd want to knock back a couple of beers with. What I want to say though is for as much as you guys keep telling me you miss the show, we miss you guys more. But we're still right here in Detroit and we're looking forward to one hell of a party.

Its funny I was riding the shuttle back from Game 2 of the Colorado series and someone in the back of the shuttle said hey Weirdo. I turned and talked to them for a quick second and told them about this blog. He said he already knew about it. So dude if you read this it was nice to be noticed. Sorry if I seemed WASTED cause I was. Anyway I can't wait for a D&D party like the old days.

Soooo.....how many more months do we have to wait for D & D to get back on the air? 7 months or so?? Am I close? But also how's Bill doing? Haven't had an update about him in a little while. And how come he hasn't joined you to fill the entertainment vacuum that exists because you aren't on the air? It seems like when you were away for the month of March it would have been the perfect time for him to jump in here and write a couple posts. But oh well. How's him and his family doing?

I think ALL of your dedicated listeners are waiting for a PARTY! I know I'll be there. It will be a great day that we've been looking forward to. Thanks D&D for hanging around and not moving on, like everyone else is your position would have done. We appreciate it, and will be there when you return to our Detroit airwaves.

Yes, we want bill updates too!! How is the first week on the diet going? I cannot wait to hear you and bill both back on the air. The drive home is just not the same w/o you. You are missed!

Jeff,
I think it's great that you guys appear to be willing to ride this out for a year just to stay in Detroit. It says a lot about what you think of the area and the people who live here. Hang in there. We do miss hearing you two every day. But if it means getting you back in January, it will have been worth it.
