When it comes to keeping you guys up to date with the old crew's personal news, this is as good as it gets. Our former producer and my very dear friend Beaver and his beautiful wife Cookie Crisp are expecting their first baby! How cool is that?! Beaver's gonna be a daddy! My take on this is moving that wallet to his front pocket made him much more fertile, and somehow the cold water shave technique didn't hurt either. Potential names if it's a boy...Luca Brasi, Sonny, Fredo, or Johnny Fontane...if it's a girl, Apollonia or Kay. I wish them all the best, but this is really going to cut into Beaver's golf time. Congrats guys!

That is great news. Congrats to Beaver and his wife. Kids change your life in ways you can never imagine. I am sure you guys already know this but there is no way of describing that first time you look at your child and it hits you.....YOU are responsible for another human being. It's an awesome responsibility. But all that responsibility pays off the first time your child looks at you and smiles. The feeling that you have at that moment can not be described with words. Just joy beyond all joy. But congrats and I will keep his family in my prayers.

Thats great news for beaver but I hope you are kidding about the baby names. Those are the worst names I have ever heard. With the exception of Kay, I can only ask what are they trying to do to the kid. Many parents don't seem to care about what their kids have to go through as they grow up. Good luck

I think that's real cool for him, and if he reads this then I give you my full congratulations Beaver, and I'd wish you good luck, but you seem smart enough that you won't need it. He always seemed like a good guy, and it was respectible that he never wanted to go into detail about his life on the air. I do find it interesting though, that you would say in previous posts that you haven't been able to get in contact with him, and that was the reason for not being able to give an update on what he's now doing. Just say he wants to keep that private. This isn't radio where you have to lie about things to appease the audience or bosses. This is your personal blog. Now I know saying all this will earn me censorship from this message being posted, but I mean it. Have a great life Beaver, and I can't wait to hear D & D no matter the time in 2009!

I don't know who this tool Billy is, and I don't know why he says in previous posts I said I was unable to 'get in contact' with Beaver because I never said that...you can go through all the previous posts and see for yourself...and I think he's a dick for claiming I was 'lying' since he's the one inventing shit. Damn I'm slow. I just realized that the title of this was in a sense an ode to Beaver. Happy Happy Joy Joy? an obvious Ren & Stimpy reference, one of the Beav's fav cartoons. I got a text from the Beav yesterday. He was playing golf in Florida a few weeks ago so he must be doing all right. He even said he putted well.
